What is supervision?

Supervision is a support instrument , intended to sustain the professional, as an individual and as a team member, in the correct management of the emotional load of his/her work. Supervision is a process in which the practitioner is accompanied during his/her personal and profesional development, he/she is guided towards the efficient and ethical solution of difficulties

Therefore, supervision services support the professional development of social service practitioners through a guided process of reflection, help identify/delineate the role of the professional, assume responsibilities and the proper functioning of the team in order to adequately manage the complex situations with which it face at work.
